Mikey+Ashton Accommodation in general: ... WAY HOUSE, GREENSTEAD Just a word of warning for students thinking of moving into Avon Way House, managed by CRM students, in Greenstead, Colchester. On first appearance, the flats appear to be new and modernised. However, after living in a five bedroom flat for one academic year, my flat has found many problems. Firstly, Greenstead itself is far from the nicest place in Colchester. A friend of mine has had hi...

Nekaun Halls Of Residence At The University Of Wales, Bangor
... are any different halls of residence around the Bangor, site. Since I only have an opinion of one hall, I will only be reviewing that particular one. John Morris Jones I decided on this one because it is an all-welsh speaking accomodation which is also catered. It costs £96 a week... and it includes breakfast and tea/supper. For the price, it is very cost effective as there is no need to buy food and alot of money is saved. In each room, there is a bed, sink, 2 chairs and a side cupboard... the wardrobe is kinda built into the wall. Space in the room is gargantuan compared with other sites such as the ffriddoedd. There are flaws with these halls however, becaus...

SomethingToBe Halls Of Residence At The University Of Surrey
... the reciews on this subject, I noticed that the newest review was from 2002 and the most expensive rent band was £65 per week!!! So I thought it about time this got some updating. Rent now ranges from £54.30 for a duplex room to £115 for the top band. The rent is charged weekly (although collected monthly) and includes all bills (gas/elec, water, internet). The only added bill you need to pay for is if you require a TV licence. Cleaners come in 2/3 times a week to take rubbish and clean the kitchen and bathrooms however students have to clean their own bedrooms. The rent bands are: A- £54.30 B- £69 C-£76 D- £94 E- £115 Stag Hill: Stag Hill rooms are either sha...

Former+Aberdonian Hunter Court & Coopers Court
... Court, as it states on its webpage, is ideally situated right in the heart of the university campus. The Edward Wright building, one of the main ports of call for internet access, is directly opposite and is open 24 hours. The St Machar bar and the Bobbin are also only a stone s throw away, especially useful if you happen to require some chill-out time over a beer or two. A particular favourite amongst those living at Hunter is the fact that one is able to get up at 8.55 in the morning and still reach that beloved 9 a.m. lecture-very handy indeed! There are not too many disadvantages. However, there are some things that need to be mentioned. There is a 1000 pound ...
