SomethingToBe Halls Of Residence At The University Of Surrey: ... the reciews on this subject, I noticed that the newest review was from 2002 and the most expensive rent band was £65 per week!!! So I thought it about time this got some updating. Rent now ranges from £54.30 for a duplex room to £115 for the top band. The rent is charged weekly (although collected monthly) and includes all bills (gas/elec, water, internet). The only added bill you need to pay for is if you r...

Former+Aberdonian Hunter Court & Coopers Court
... Court, as it states on its webpage, is ideally situated right in the heart of the university campus. The Edward Wright building, one of the main ports of call for internet access, is directly opposite and is open 24 hours. The St Machar bar and the Bobbin are also only a stone s throw away, especially useful if you happen to require some chill-out time over a beer or two. A particular favourite amongst those living at Hunter is the fact that one is able to get up at 8.55 in the morning and still reach that beloved 9 a.m. lecture-very handy indeed! There are not too many disadvantages. However, there are some things that need to be mentioned. There is a 1000 pound ...

mezer3000 Halls Of Residence At The University Of Reading
... when applying for Halls Of Residence at Reading university, the main thing I was concerned about was how close it was to the university buildings. I spent quite a while with the university hall booklet, slowly narrowing down my selection. I applied for Whiteknights, Wessex, and Bridges, and ended up in Bridges. At first I thought this was the worst thing that could have happened; although it was close to the university building, on looking at the website for Bridges I was thoroughly disappointed by the look of the facilities. But I didn t have much choice. So in October 2007 I moved in. On the day I arrived, I was given keys for external doors, my internal corrido...

marnie_moo Halls Of Residence At De Montfort University
... House - This was my halls during my first year at De Montfort University. The halls itself were lovely but I had a few problems initially as my course started during summer and although they had several months notice they were still not able to have my room ready for when I arrived so I was put into another building within the complex. They then gave me my keys by mistake and I moved to my actual room (which was the same rental price but a lot smaller) to find the flat hadn t been cleaned since summer! Aside from these teething problems the halls were very nice and modern to live in albeit very small coming from living in a family home. A few points about my ha...
