Halls Of Residence At The University Of Leeds:
... have just completed my first year studying International History and Politics at the University of Leeds. It was my first time living away from home and the parents so it was imperative to me to get the right accomodation. Fortunately, i chose James Baillie Park, and, could not recommend it more highly to anyone. General The general lay out of the flats in James Baillie are 6 bedrooms in a cluster area (meaning t... Halls Of Residence At The University Of Leeds ... was in Ellerslie Halls in 2007 which is an on campus, catered, non smoking halls with rooms, not flats. The hall is a two minute walk from the Union building which makes it really conveinient for getting around/to lectures. Meals are taken in the union refectory with a meal card which is topped up a certain amount each day. This gives you more flexibility about what and when you want to eat than many of the dining hall/school dinner typed catered halls there are which I found really useful. The halls itself are a collection of Victorian terrace houses on Lyddon Terrace. The common rooms benefit from high ceilings and neat and tidy decor which gives the halls a rather im... Senghenydd Court ... it is located close to the center and close to many bars and clubs (and to some schools) Senghennydd court is related to some really annoying issues; the undergraduate students behave really awful which becomes even worse in exam periods....the security is simply worthless and inadequate!!! Proof of this is that within 20 days (july-august 2009) strangers broke into 2 rooms and stole 3 laptops...Needless to say that the security couldnt prevent anything and had no idea...As far as the CCTV dont ask...i doubt it even works....Paying around 5000 pounds is not what you expect to get in return... Studying what I came for not worrying about my personal belongings....H... Read the full review: Senghennydd Court, Cardiff by antony ili |

Halls Of Residence At The University Of Wales, Swansea ... student halls of residence was in the Student Village called Hendrefoilan. It s situated about 2 miles out of town and is, like it s named, a little village of its own. Accommodation is in the form of houses or flats, from 8 to 12 students. The houses are on 2 levels, with one being a girls floor, and the other the boys. The flats are newer and each floor holds between 4 and 6 people (single sex). I lived in a house of 12 and was pleasantly surprised by them. Each room had a single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. We all shared a fairly large kitchen and there was a bathroom with separate toilet. The village had its own student union, which was ideal for the first co...
