neillfc1 Halls Of Residence At The University of Stirling: ... halls Of Residence at the University of Stirling are not on a par with the other top Universities around Scotland. In terms of the individual halls they range from the likes of AKD and ASH which are pretty decent all the way to Geddes which is very poor. All of the halls boast smalls rooms in comparison to what you generally find at other Scottish Universties to the extent that in some of the smallest rooms a 6 f...

Jozeyu Halls Of Residence At The University Of Portsmouth
... for student accommodation at Portsmouth Uni? There are lots to choose from, but I stayed at Trafalgar Halls on the Guildhall Campus last year, so the bulk of this review is on these halls in particular. Advice: The best thing to do is note where your department is and stay around there. For example, my main building is Eldon (Department of Creative Technologies), so I chose Trafalgar, which is literally right next to it. Harry Law, James Watson and Bateson accommodations are all nearby, as this is essentially the core vicinity of the University - all areas can be accessed from here. You can also stay at Langstone Student Village, but it s a far way out and you ha...

Midrange Halls Of Residence At The University Of Southampton in general
... Halls I was a student resident in Highfield Halls for one year as an undergraduate, and also visited friends in Highfield Halls in subsequent years. Highfield Halls, catered accommodation at the University of Southampton, were perhaps the least well known of all the University Residences as they are much smaller than the others with only 180 residents. The accommodation was split into two blocks: Aubrey House and Wolfe House, both located around a central, grassy quad. My review will take the following format: - My Room - Other Rooms (including Common Room, bar, courtyard) - The Food - Location (the main selling point!) My Room It may sound a little silly to w...

reviewer9999 Halls Of Residence At The University Of Leicester in general
... t live here!!! It s awful. Between the fact that my room had leaks, the power did not work, the catered food was unhealthy and did not taste like anything I would not recommend it. The internet connection was almost painfully slow. The rooms are small with very little storage space. I really have nothing positive to say except for the fact that the students were nice. But the fact that there was no common area made it so that people did not interact very naturally. People hung out on the stairwells which is also where we kept the trash. It was a smelly combination. When I sent in a maintenance request they just sent it back saying that there was no problem found. The...
