Students have no money, it is a well publicised fact. A supposed fact about students is that they are at university to complete a degree, thus books are needed. Each module has a recommended text, some are compulsary, where as others are not, but in most cases additional reading is required if you want to get the top grades. Loughborough University has many merits. As far as the people in charge goes, one of which is the fact that it is in university terms exceptionally well off financially. Therefore when they announced that they were to increase the hall fees to cover a small loss that they make every year I thought it would be tiny. Instead it has gone up a good deal, especially when you consider two new factors that you must pay for. Firstly most rooms are now connected to the net and have phones.
