A very trustworthy friend of mine had stayed at the Cambridge Halls of residence down in Manchester Metropolitan University. It's quite new & only been opened since last year though...

The furniture is well furnished & all the equipments are new. Students from the 1st year are normally admitted to such halls & there exist north & south halls opposite to each other dwon at the Higher Cambridge Street located just at the back of the Uni's library.

Rooms are available in form of flats & there are 10 individual rooms in the flat, & the whole building consists of 4 floors with 3 flats on each. Lighting wise is good & so is the laundry at the ground floor of each building.

But, please take note of naughty hands of those who love to make trouble sometimes... Generally speaking is a good hall, not bacuse it's new but also close to the provision shops & restaurants behind it. So is a bar just across the street & late night take aways in Oxford Road.
