Accommodation in generalNewest Review: ... beat it...never having to wait for someone else to finish in the bathroom, always being first in the shower...I miss it now! The one problem that we had last year was when we showered, the water went everywhere. It soaked the whole bathroom. This has been resolved this year, as they have added shower curtains! Another good point this year is that they now have cleaners. Last year, we had to make sure the communal area was tidy and clean for one inspection a term. I lived in Roeburn Halls of Residence last year whilst studying at UCLAN. People often referred to Roeburn as a hotel! They were not far wrong. With your own en-suite bathroom what more did you need? The en-suite facility is great, you cant beat it...never having to wait for someone else to finish in the bathroom, always being first in the shower...I miss it now! I spent my first year at UCLAN in Roeburn Hall - the newest halls of residence at the university. In my flat were 7 bedrooms, each with an individual bathroom (toilet, sink and shower). At the end of the hallway was our kitchen/living room. We were fortunate enough to have a corner flat on the top floor so benefitted from an extra large communal room. Some may say we were spoilt students us Roeburn residents - but believe me we did pay for it!!! But I would say it was worth it.
