Eurgh! (Accommodation in general)
Advantages: Erm.... Disadvantages: What could go wrong....does.
I have just started in the 1st year at Imperial and am living in halls. Mine are supposed to be some of the good ones at the college, but as the title suggests, I am less than impressed. The rent is not bad compared to others in the area, but that is because I share a room. The amenities are bad in my house, having very tiny kitchens, with one oven per house (each house has about 20-25 people). When I arrived in halls, I was disgusted at the amount of things broken or not working in my house, for example, one of the windows in my room would not close, there was no kettle, the kitchen light didn't work, there was 4 cupboards for 5 people on my floor, the toaster didn't work, my telephone hadn't been installed, and worst of all, when people used the shower above my room, water came through the ceiling and dripped onto my bed. (by the way, this still hasn't been properly fixed, even after complaining about 6 times). I won't even get started on the laundry facilities, (no irons or ironing boards, etc.). Summary: |

Halls or places to sleep when you are pissed.
Uniersity flats - South Clerk Street, Sciennes, 5 Nicolson Street
Mix and match
Childs and Bulmershe Halls

Pollock Halls, Not That Bad
