Newest Review: ... noise and other regulations. UEA accommodation is self-catering, and you'd better learn to use at least the microwave, as campus catering is dire. Also, don't get too attached to your lovely non-stick pans, as someone is bound to use them and leave them languishing, scratched and dirty, in the sink. On the plus side, you'll most likely have international floormates who can show you how to cook some unusual d ishes, and communal cooking is definitely possible. Legend and folklore surround the residences at UEA. Well, maybe that's a bit strong, but they all have their own character, and the odd little story (true or otherwise) attached. Whether you want to live in a big ol' breezeblock or an en-suite Travelodge-a-like, there's something for you. Most of the accommodation is on the campus proper, or in the nearby Village. There are also some residences in the city, and a few out at Bowthorpe, a nearby residential area. Neither of these two are in particularly enticing areas, it must be said.
