Accommodation in general

If after what I've said you still want to go, here we go! 2 points for parents 1 - The accomodation is overpriced (At least £10 so) 2 - If you apply after the first week of clearing, you won't get any despite the upbeat nature of the office. Just a warning, I know people who were mislead Claude Gibb Best catered option, very well placed (30 secs from lectures), decent rooms. Food is slop though Lovaine Flats/Hall Well placed, but tiny rooms (Like Strangeways!) and the kitchens are tiny. Really poor value! Glenamara The king of Northumbria. Im a first year at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and I live in one of the Universities best halls of residence, Glenamara House (named after Lord Glenamara I think). There are 5 halls within the Unis city campus- Claude Gibb, Lovaine Flats, Lovaine Halls, Glenamara, Stevenson Building and Garth Heads. The uni has also applied for planning permission for a 350 room h.o.r next door to Glenamara. Claude Gibb Hall This is the only fully catered hall and as a result is the oldest.
