Let's be totally blunt. South Stoneham House is *not* a pretty sight. A fifteen story concrete tower block is the extension to an old brick house, making it a landmark in the Swaythling area of the city. If I were to choose the student accomodation between MonteFiore and Glen Eyre, I would prefer Glen Eyre. Why? Glen Eyre is surround by greens, but Monte is surrounded by forest, not green forest, but concrete forest! Generally, at the same cost, you will get a better quality and more spacious room in Glen. I would rate this accommodation the best in terms of the rent, the distance from the universitry and the state of the room. Rent It is only around 43 pounds per week.
