Advantages: Loads of choice

Disadvantages: You might not get your first choice.

One of the things that most impressed me about Warwick University is the wide selection of accommodation available. All first years (except those entering through clearing) are guaranteed a place on campus and everyone that I know who applied for accommodation in the third year was also given a place. Whatever you are looking for Warwick has an option for you from cheap £42 a week to much nicer £60 a week rooms. Many of the £50+ rooms also some with en-suite bathrooms.



In general halls are probably better than flats since there are always loads more people around which gives a much better atmosphere. I would probably recommend roots as being the best first year choice as you get decently sized rooms and you are close to the union. I was in Cryfield in my first year in a hall of 30 which was loads of fun, the rooms are very small but then I didn't spend much time in there anyway. If you have more money to spend and are looking for something nicer Arthur Vick is probably your best bet, these rooms have en-suite bathroom and are quite large as well.
