Last year was my first at Warwick University and although the whole year was excellent the accomodation stood out particularly. Built very recently the Arthur Vick halls are of a very high standard - every room is spacious with an individual ensuite bathrooms containing a bath with shower and a toilet. If you want (if you're not trying to sleep, your room will get cleaned every day. More importantly the communal kitchen and living room areas also get cleaned daily. In October 1999 I arrived at Arthur Vick Hall at the University of Warwick. Unsurprisingly I was experiencing a mixture of emotions; excitement,nerves and general curiosity. However, despite my initial fears I quickly settled at Arthur Vick. AV has a cosmopolitian mix of students and I quickly made friends from across the world; Holland, Macau and India to name just three. Each corridor in AV has 14 rooms and a communal kitchen and living room. These comfortable kitchens are ideal for relaxing and getting to know new people. Socially AV was also excellent.
