i lived in these halls in 2001, and vowed to make it my aim to tell as many people as possible to not move in there unless it gets a face lift. The Block was first opened in 1984 and well has not been renovated since - well maybe it's had a lick of paint or two but not recently. The carpets are the originals, very popular stripe style in '80s i remember my mum had one in her bedroom quite similar. But the carpets, you can live with, but atthe price you pay for these halls approx £43, (which varies every year), and knowing that the price of halls on campus are the same, you really don't get value for money with Charles Morris. ...  Read the complete review
