Nearly four years ago I arrived at Derby Hall at Nottingham University and was pleasantly surprised. You walk into the hall through big stone arches into a green courtyard surrounded by the hall buildings (which look pretty old and have lots of character). I was in block B room 109, and was well pleased. It was a huge room. The biggest room i've ever had to myself. I don't think all the rooms were this big in other blocks, but in B block they were all like this. I had a desk, a wardrobe, some drawers and a single bed in my room. Everything you need really.
