Dunbar Halls in a brilliant place to spend your first year at the University of Aberdeen. Probably the most friendly of all the halls, Dunbar is bright and warm and has its own computer suite (v useful for pulling all-nighters). The rooms are a fair size and although on first view the corridors may seem like a never-ending maze it's easy to find your way around. Each room has a sink and a big wardrobe in addition to the prison-issue desk and bed (with non-removeable plastic sheeting) but it's surprising how quickly you don't notice waking up stuck to the mattress.
