Whattt? I am currently living in Cranborne House and don't even want to move out! The internet connection is as it is at home, I live with guys doing computer courses and they have no complaints. Occasionally the uni intranet can be down for a weekend. I'm in a value room but even that is fine. Otherwise the rooms are better than I imagined. It is a bit grimy when you move in, the cleaners are god awful but the day I moved they had provided a starter kit so a wipe round was all it needed. Althought i am not a student at bournemouth uni have has a family membe who has spent a year at cranbounre house from my opinon i found it exactly as i expected for a university accomodatition as recards to the previous persons comments regarding clenleynese i believe that to be up to students! also the university have just finished a new halls (the name has fanished from me atm) and they have also upgraded the internet so it is t3 and can handle alot of users at one ... Bournemouth University accommodation is horrible. I came from America to study here and asked if I could see the place before signing the contract. They didn't let me, but I decided to go with them anyway because of the Internet access. I'm doing an MSC in Computing so I needed Internet access for that, my job, and to keep in touch with friends. But the Internet access was so slow that it literally would not log me on most of the time - I could only log on really early in the morning. Then I moved out (because I needed Internet access for my degree), but they gave me hassle and charged me two extra weeks and I've been fighting with that ever since. ... Read the complete review

Bournemouth University has a varity of University owned accomodation. 1. The Student Village - based on the University's main Talbot campus, it contains houses which have between 3 and 7 bedrooms, all self-catering, with fully equiped kitchens and showers. You will usually only get in here if you are either in your first or final year, cost approx £2,100 a year including bills, but not during the summer hoilday. 2.
