Manor Hall, Sinclair flats, Manor house and Tottenham place (A large cohort I must say) (Halls Of Residence At The University Of Bristol)
Member Name: 02woodc
Advantages: Large rooms, great people (the porters are hilarious), good bar and a vibrant community. Disadvantages: Damn those single sex corridors, oh and the warden has a thing about first names. It's a bit odd.
Before you even go to university you don't really realise what a big choice you're making before you even get there. Luckily at Bristol University the halls are all of a high standard when I viewed them before I made my decision. After viewing as many halls as I could I chose Manor Hall because it was a cosy place where I was likely to get a place, it was also about 5-10 minutes away from everything, from Clifton village with some pleasant pubs to Clifton Triangle which has bars, shops and night clubs. So I was really in a win/win situation. Summary: Great hall, great people. |
