Manor hall is by far the best hall of residence at the university of bristol (not that I'm biased!) I lived in Goldney Hall between 1994-96. They have a policy of allowing returning students to apply to stay on another year, some even stayed all 3 years of their course! The rooms are arranged into flats of 6 - 8 students, including the returners.
