Halls Of Residence At The University of Stirling:
... halls Of Residence at the University of Stirling are not on a par with the other top Universities around Scotland. In terms of the individual halls they range from the likes of AKD and ASH which are pretty decent all the way to Geddes which is very poor. All of the halls boast smalls rooms in comparison to what you generally find at other Scottish Universties to the extent that in some of the smallest rooms a 6 f... Halls Of Residence At Glasgow Caledonian University in general ... am a currently finishing my fourth year of study at this university and stayed in the halls during my 1st year. Every year I have lived in a different area of the city and Caly Court as the residents call it was by far my best experience. Moving from Inverness as an inexperienced Fresher Caley Court made the move so much easier. On arrival at the halls you go to the accommodation office which is open throughout the year for 4 hours a day to help with any queries you have regarding your accommodation. The office told me which halls I would be staying in and gave me keys to my room. There is a choice of en-suite and non-ensuite. I stayed in en-suite halls preferring n... Accomodation in general ... have just finished a year spent in student accomodation at Royal Holloway University of London. I am now living in a house of campus and it is a completely different experience living in student accomodation is such a great way to make friends. There are always people about and all you new friends are right on your doorstep. When you start uni its really nice to have flatmates who are in the same situation as you and straight away you have made some friends. Being close to uni is really handy as well and when your adjusting to uni life its great not to have to worry about traveling. Its the same with bills and sorting out phone lines, etc. These are all things that yo... Read the full review: student accomodation! by Bex28band |

Halls Of Residence At The University of Strathclyde ... myself lived in strathlyce residency halls for my first year of Uni and loved every minute of it. You are guaranteed halls if you live over 25 miles from Glasgow and i have a few recommendations which i will list in a bit. The halls themselves are all very practical for the University and allow students to get up late and miss class, very handy after a night at the Strathclyde Union. Everyone at the halls are friendly and with their own security service they are very safe as well, something which is important to people when moving to a strange city. Some of the halls are as following : Chancellors Halls - this is where i stayed, ensuite rooms and some rooms have double... Read the full review: Nice and handy halls by godsman |
