Newest Review: ... the undergraduate students behave really awful which becomes even worse in exam periods....the security is simply worthless and inadequate!!! Proof of this is that within 20 days (july-august 2009) strangers broke into 2 rooms and stole 3 laptops...Needless to say that the security couldnt prevent anything and had no idea...As far as the CCTV dont ask...i doubt it even works....Paying around ... more

 ... 5000 pounds is not what you expect to get in return... Studying what I came for not worrying about my personal belongings....How can you concentrate to your studies if you get distracted by such incidents? SO FRUSTRATING!!!! The rooms could be bigg...more

Although it is located close to the center and close to many bars and clubs (and to some schools) Senghennydd court is related to some really annoying issues; the undergraduate students behave really awful which becomes even worse in exam periods....the security is simply worthless and inadequate!!! Proof of this is that within 20 days (july-august 2009) strangers broke into 2 rooms and stole 3 laptops...Needless to say that the security couldnt prevent anything and had no idea...As far as the CCTV dont ask...i doubt it even works....Paying around 5000 pounds is not what you expect to get in return... I started my university life in 1996 and me being 18 it was the first time that i'd be living away from home. Senghenydd court was my first choice for acommodation as its location is close to the main building, where all my lectures were, and it is also a stones throw away from all the shops in the city centre! The Sherman theatre is also close by and the students union just a five minute walk away. Senghenydd court is split up into blocks all alphabetically lettered with 12 self-contained flats in each block.
