Sheffield Hallam has several Halls of Residence through out the cty. Some are owned by them others are private. The one I currently live in is owned and run by Hallam.
Halls are quite expensive but are needed in order for you to make friends. Here I have made some great friends and will be moving in next year with some of them and living in my own place! For the first time ya!
Anyways... this halls is is an en-suite, self catering, 6 sharing halls. ts about 10 minutes from the city campus and 20 from colligiate campus. Your looking at least £85 a week to live in here over 42 contract weeks. In the rooms you have a bed (need your own bedding) with under bed storage, a wardrobe a desk and ample shelving. The kitchen area has a cooker, 2 microwaves, kettle, fridge freezer and seperate freezer. They also give you enough room for 2 cupboards each which is great and allows me t put all my stuff away no problem... Even after a large £50 shop :D
One thing I dont like is the living area, its just a table and chairs... I would of like some comfy seats and sofa's maybe with a Tv like some other halls get :(
At first this was not a problem but after you have been here a while have a place to relax cheaply with friends is really really needed!
All of Hallam halls are god like but I would recommend going on a tour beofre making your decision!
Summary: Couldnt of asked for a better place!
