jaylad Halls Of Residence At The University Of Luton
... prison must be a more pleasant experience than living in the halls of residence at the University of Luton. I was fortunate enough to actually get placed in my first choice of halls site – Bute Street. You have four options when choosing at Luton and the Bute Street site is their flagship halls of residence. It’s aimed at being a student village, which it’s not. It’s basically about 10 huge blocks of newly built flats and at first it looks really nice. How wrong one could be. Most of the rooms have been recently renovated and are generally in a good condition. In the first year you will defin...

Angeliki Balliol College Halls of Residence in general
... the interview session at the university of Oxford, and in particular at Balliol college I was offered a room at the college both in the old and new Warden. OLD WARDEN I must admit that I was surprised to see the state the room was in. It was quite big, warm (it was December), and it was furnished with a bed, a bedside table, a desk, a somewhat tiny wardrobe, and a bookcase. There was also a sink and a mirror in the room (the light above the mirror and a plug did not work though). The room was of satisfactory size and furnished properly, however, there were also certain disadvantages: It was right opposite Oxford's cemetary, which made it somewhat creepy,...
