Andrew Halls Of Residence At The University Of Birmingham: ... house is situated about 2 miles by road from the main campus, so budget for a bus pass. Room quality is variable - it depends on how much you want to spend. I m living in the least attractive (and cheapest) Wolfson Wing which to be honest, with its painted breeze block walls looks like a prison without bars. Wolfson wing is in dire need of re-decoration, so expect flaking paint everywhere. Toilet facilities...

robertoakes Halls Of Residence At The University Of Wolverhampton
... then what can be said about University Of Wolverhampton halls, there split into four different sites, 3 sets of halls, being actually in Wolverhampton, and the rest on the three remaining sites. Since my course was based in Telford I choose to live there, mainly because the accommodation was en-suite!!!! But in the brochure they didn’t tell you that 90% of the residents were foreign, now that didn’t bother me, until I found out that most of them go around in packs and a lot of them don’t even try and speak English, or they can speak English, they just don’t bother being friendly to you. Of course there are the odd few who do try and communicate on a serious level. Ano...

yellowbelly Halls Of Residence At The University Of Birmingham
... Catered hall is located about three kilometers from the main campus and one from the Westhill (Selly Oak) campus. This is the only real disadvantage of this hall. The hall is composed of four sections, The Old House, the Wings, the Wolfson Wing, and the Cadbury wing. The Old house is the original half timbered building donated by the Cadbury family. It can be quite social, and has large rooms, some en-suite, some shared, but not all. This area also houses the old Common room, a library which has a good working atmosphere, and the Dining hall. The east and west wings were built in the 1950's and have large, solidly constructed, but ageing rooms set out a...

purplebluered Halls Of Residence At Coventry University in general
... Hall is catered accomodation bang in the centre of uni campua, it consists of 3 blocks, one tower block, one block that stretches over the top of the road and another shortish tower-ish block. singer is is self catering halls situated about 5/10 minutes away from priory. Priory is great if u really dont want to cook and want to be really close to lectures. literally some people are 30 seconds away from their lectures! theres a great social scene and u get to know loads of people. disadvantage is that the food tastes like slop sometimes and sometimes u just want to be able to choose what time u eat!! also it's corridor type place, so it's like a r...
