My little boy has a new found subject to explore and that is currently dinosaurs so for his birthday I decided to purchase this bucket of dinosaurs from Argos in the 2 for £15 promotion although they can be purchased separately for £10. For our money we received a fair sized plastic jar with a screw top lid which is great for storage as the dinosaurs are rather small and could be lost easily.
In the box we received 13 dinosaurs many different variations and colours which was good. Also in the box we received 2 tress and 4 trunks to set the scene for the dinosaurs to roam. All toys are made from solid plastic this making them very durable which are just what you need when you have 3 young children playing with them. They have lasted very well even after bumps and scrapes, dinosaurs fighting each other and not to forget Thomas the tank engine crashing into a group of dinosaurs and for the low price of £10 or £7.50 if purchasing as part of the Argos promotion I think this is fantastic.
They do not move or bend or do anything special they are just painted pieces of plastic with not brilliant detailing to them but you can tell they are dinosaurs and my Son can actually tell me the name for each one. They are just the right size for a young child to hold and play with and not to small that I am scared that my 18 month old boy will swallow them. My little boy thinks they are so much more and he has spent hours sitting and playing with the toys which he then returns to there tub and stores them until he next wants to play.
Age recommendation is 3 years plus and these suit my 4 year old boy perfect he loves sitting and making up stories with them and creating different scenes. My little girl who is just turning 3 and my youngest son who is 18 months old also love playing with there big brothers dinosaurs and as there are no pieces that are small enough for them to swallow I let them play although do watch them with them just in case. I find at this age it tends to be let's see how high the dinosaur can bounce rather than any constructive play but they enjoy them just the same.
For the money I paid I was very surprised with the variety and durability of these toys I would definitely recommend these dinosaurs to anyone with a little boy or girl that loves exploring new things without breaking mum and dad's bank balance.
Mt only downside with the product is that they do not have more of a range I went to purchase another bucket thinking they would be different dinosaurs in each pack only to find they are practically the same which was a shame as I would have brought more.
My Godson is Dinosaur mad loves anything to do with Dinosaurs so when shopping in Argos I spotted the Chad Valley Tub of Dinosaurs (they had placed right by the till!) and snapped these up knowing they would be appreciated.
What is it?
This tub is crammed full of small dinosaurs containing 13 Dinosaurs which my Godson told where called and of course I promptly forget all the names! Plus a couple of trees and some trunks which to be frank tend to remain in the tub.
Cost and Stockist
I purchased from Argos the tub costs £9.68 but is also part of the two for £15.00 offer at the moment and within that offer there are 192 products!
My Godson and my daughter love playing with these dinosaurs and spend hours happily playing all manner of scary games and unlike many toys these do not contain small pieces or need batteries to work just some imagination!
I also think that these dinosaurs are very robust and have lasted well they are not too flimsy or too small as to get lost and of course as part of two for £15.00 they are a steal.
I really recommend these they are a great toy and it is nice to see children playing rather than beeping and this toy has no limit to the games that can be played only limitation is your imagination! A really well made pot of Dinosaurs
I bought these for my son one Christmas as he loves anything to do with dinosaurs.
What came in the box
There is a mix of dinosaurs although I would not be able to name any of them loll, they are made fully of plastic and are pretty heavy, and very durable to use, the dinosaurs are not very big but I would not say they are too small either, they are just about the right size for a bit of game playing for children.
I purchased these for £10 from argos, which in opening the box and feeling the full weight of the dinosaurs I felt it was reasonable, I half expected the dinosaurs to be hollow inside but they were not and seem really solid.
The making of these dinosaurs has been really taken into account that it is children that use them, they are all solid plastic so you can not even bend the dinosaurs or anything, my son plays with them a lot and they attack each other ect, and there has been no damage to any of them, I think the only worry you will have with these are the bits getting lost.
Well my son can get pretty bored easily and so far these have kept him well entertained, there is so many games he will make up and play, that tend to keep him quiet for hours, so in my opinion these are a great buy. I would recommend these to anyone they are well made and have plenty of choice kin the box, and for £10 you really can't go wrong.
