I keep wanting to call her Jade, so if you see the word Jade, just assume I mean Jabe! Anyway, Jabe appeared in the Docotr Who episode 'End Of The World.' Jabe was a representative of the Forest of Cheem and quickly took a shine to the Doctor. Her life was shortlived though and she sacrificed her life by burning to death. Character Options have produced many Doctor Who toys and they have made an action figure of Jabe. It is a figure which will thrill collectors, though I question the play value of the character for a younger child. Jabe has obviously had a lot of time and effort gone into making her. She is one of the more complex characters to have been designed, thanks to her intricate head work, but the toy makers have pulled it out of the bag with stunning effect. The detail on the head is wonderful and they have captured the 'hair' really well. Her petite features are spot on and her lips look very cute and pert. As we move down the toy, you will see her dress has been moulded well, with a luxurious finish. It looks very regal. Her arms sit neatly in a folded pose, suggesting an air of importance. The figure has a superb colour scheme which captures the character's costume down to a tee, especialy the red robes which are very striking. You can move her at the head and also on the arms, which means you can recreate scenes from the show. Jabe is in proportion with the other figures in the series and stands at about five inches in height. She is a glamorus lady and an intriguing addition to the toy series. Expect to pay about six pounds for her as new.
