My kids are still absolutely enamoured with Toy Story 3. My mum bought the big Toy Story 3 imaginext playset for my 4 year old for his birthday last October, so my sister got some packs of figures to go with it and make it better. One set was Woody and his faithful steed, Bullseye. The figures are about 2 inches tall, and sturdy in your hand. The horse Bullseye has a really narrow middle where the saddle is so that the Woody figure can sit on his back and 'ride like the wind.' This set has been well played with by both of my children, although the youngest seems to have it more. (The eldest is more crafty at getting the preferred Buzz Lightyear figure first.) My youngest will be 3 in 3 months, and I have noticed although he doesn't put toys in his mouth, he has chewed on the hat on the Woody figure. The paint has worn off quite quickly as a result. I have also noticed that the arms on Woody have started to snap just below the armpit where they have tried to lift his arms out to the side. They are not on a ball and socket joint, so they can move forward and back a little but not up and down. This is quite disappointing that it has not worn very well as it is the only figure that is shaped specifically to ride on the horse's back. I have not taken it from them yet, but when the arms completely snap it will have to go in the bin. My 2 year old can be a bit heavy handed with toys, but this looked robust enough to withstand him. He is only slightly younger than the recommended 3, so it is just something to think about if you give it a younger child. I would also keep them away from pets. My nephew had the same figure, and mum's chihuahua puppy got hold of the figure by the head and bit the hat clean off. Nice set, but I am not sure why it has not worn as well as it could, so i am going to knock off one star.
