The figure has echoes of 4 Lom and also a Sandperson and he does not look that droid-like on initial inspection. His face looks wonderful though, with subterranean like features and blistering eyes which scream out at you. Some intricate shading on the head adds to the charm of the head design.

It's one of those droids that you will look at and think hmm, have I seen him before or haven't I? CZ4 is part of the CZ droid series and this chap made his appearance in the film 'Return Of The Jedi' in 1983. A brief encounter with C3PO was his moment onscreen. He can be seen in a dingy backroom at Jabba The Hutt's palace, looking menacing. Rumour has it that CZ4 perished when Jabba's sailbarge was destroyed. Despite launching an expansive toy range in the eighties, there was never a CZ4 figure made by Kenner.
