Wow! Now you can sit in the quiet of your bedroom and play with Samuel L. Jackson! Well, a slimmed down version of him. Samuel has appeared in many movies and I don't think he has ever had an action figure made of him; imagine the play value attached to a figure from 'Lakeside Terrace'! His debut in the newer batch of Star Wars films caused a stir among fans and prompted toy giant Hasbro to make a figure of his character. Mr Mace Windu might sound like something you use to clean windows, but he is infact a skilled Jedi. His understated presence brings an air of cool calm to wherever he goes. Mace proves himself a true hero in 'The Clone Wars' where he helps lead the battle against the Empire. He has been crafted pretty well, though his face bears a horrid scowl which makes him look more like a cross between Dizzee Rascal and Linford Christie. He face also looks too slim. Despite this, some of the facial features just about capture Jackson's look. The body is better, with wonderful fatigues covering his frame. His long flowing cloak has been shaded well suggesting movement and balance. I was impressed with his boots too, which look a little pirate like, but very smart. To give him added value, he is poseable at the head, arms and legs, meaning you can create some exciting play scenarios. Mace naturally comes with a lightsabe and fans will be delighted to see that it is a rich purple sabre which looks the business. Mace can grip this in either hand and you will find he can do a swinging action with his arm. Some battle accessories complete the figure and at about seven pounds, he is in line with the rest of the gang in the price range.
