      a solid pack

There are a few Star Wars double packs in existence and this is one of the better ones, as it contains two figures who could genuinely be locked in an intense battle. Obi Wan Kenobi is here in his McGregor mould and he is battling a Battle Droid. The scenario is lifted from the Clone Wars, s the figures have the computer generated look about them. I have not decided how I feel about the Clone Wars collection. It might be a tad cartoony, but it does throw up some different looking figures.

Obi Wan has thick smooth looking hair and a lovely looking beard which gives him that manly edge. His face has an expression of intensity on it, while also showing wisdom. His fatigues bear a good likeness too with white cloths underneath, covered with an outer robe which hags just to the knees. The flowing motion of his dress makes the figure come to life and I think it is a very shapely design. Rather large boots complete the look and give him an heroic stance. He can be posed at the joints and the head, which means you can crouch him too to avoid enemy attacks.

His rival is the evil Battle Droid, who is a spindly looking thing. The golden frame of his body might look no match for Obi Wan, but the droid is more powerful than he appears. His body has a genuine metal look about it and the design of the head is superb. He looks a bit like a giraffe I think. Despite rather flimsy legs, he can stand up and there is some excellent detailing around the torso and back. The pack comes with a selection of weapons too including a lightsabre, a blaster and strap on attire for Obi Wan's back.

This is definitely a two pack worth getting and should cost you about ten to twelve pounds.
