General Grevious was ... well, in all honesty I have no idea. Grevious just sort of appeared in the third film as some bizzare semi droid four armed battling thing with loads of lightsabers and some faulty lungs. He was on screen for a bit, then he battled Obi-Wan, he lost and died and that was it. Good bye Grevious. It wasn't until I saw the Clone Wars 2D animated shorts that I learned more (granted, not a great deal more) about him. Either way, he just sort of appeared one day and people who were interested in just the Star Wars films kind of had no idea what the point in having him around was. General Grievous, also once known as Qymaen jai Sheelal, was the cyborg Supreme Commander of the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems (the bad guys) during the Clone Wars conflict. A skilled tactician and an amazing, brutal warrior, trained by Count Dooku how to deal with up to four lightsabers at the same time - an ideal action toy archetype! Now this is one very bad guy. If you thought Darth Vader was evil or Darth Maul, then Grevious takes it to a whole new level. He masterminded strikes against the Rebellion and brought a smouldering murderous presence wherever he went. Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention he is a character from Star Wars. One of the newer characters, so don't expect to see him in the old eighties films. Hasbro have made a pretty decent toy of him though. Leading the droid army, he looks the part, with robotic features and hints of the Terminator about him. His face is doleful and he seems to stare blanky at you through his creepy eyes.
