He has to be one of the hunkiest fellas in the Star Wars universe. Mr Han Solo was portrayed by Harrison Ford in three of the movies. Han Solo assisted Luke Skywalker in the rescue of Princess Leia and became a key player in the Rebel Alliance. He would eventually go on to marry the Princess.

Since the film came out in 1977 there have been dozens of Han Solo figures. The original toy hit stores shortly after the film was released. Han was an interesting figure, as his head was not the right size in relation to his body, so it was quickly remodelled by toy giant Kenner.

This new Han Solo is part of the Legacy Collection and is a pleasing addition to the series. Han's face is in proportion to his body this time and his hair colour is just about right too, with some nice detailing on the crown area. The Kenner toy had way too glossy hair! Han's sleek black waistcoat looks the business and is cut at the right length too. It sits over his slouchy white shirt well.

I was particularly pleased to see the trousers had improved this time around. The blue shade has been captured very well and they do look like the ones he wore in the original film. Han's slacks are quite tight too, which is accurate.

He is fully poseable and also comes with a droid part, the idea is to collect the droid parts to make a bigger creation. Han is equipped with a blaster which he can grip with ease in either hand. My only criticism is the price. At near on ten pounds, the figure is too expensive for the casual buyer and could be placed at half that in price. Otherwise, thumbs up for another good Han toy.
