... Collection. The new design is a vast improvement. The detail on his face has been captured really well with an excellent likeness. His beard and hairline are much better this time around. The main appeal though is his clothing. He comes in a luxurious cloth cape, which you can actually take off. The cape is well made and gives him much more of a presence than the old Kenner model. You cannot knock Sir Alec Guiness. He brought an understated charm and charisma to the role of Ben Kenobi back in 1977. That first image of him appearing in the hooded brown cloak on Tatooine will forever be etched in many a memory. Ben Kenobi is the all knowing and wise Jedi who mentors Luke initially. There was a Kenobi toy made by Kenner in 1977, which had a rather flimsy vinyl cape and fatigues which were not very accurate. Kenobi also looked very slim and slightly ill looking!
