If you study the film 'Return Of The Jedi' very carefully, you might just spot Pote Snitkin in the background. He is up there with Barada and Nikto for lack of screen time, yet he was turned into an action figure by Hasbro. The toy can be bought loose for around two pounds or you can buy a boxed figure for about three pounds online.
Pote is one of the more interesting creatures, a worker for Jabba The Hutt, he keeps himself to himself and the figure is clouded in mystery. He sports a wrap around uniform which is beige in colour and looks rather primitive. The texturing on the outfit is well done though and is offset with a small belt affair.
Pote has an odd face, it is a condensed, squashed goblin like face with seasoned and weathered green skin. There are very small eyes cut and a snout-like nose. He does not have much of an expression going on and looks somewhat bored. Despite the face, the figure has been very well made with stuff joints and a lovely chunky body. This echoes the big body that Pote had in the film. You can move his head, arms and legs and strike new poses.
The figure comes with a staff and a freeze framed action slide which adds value to the package. The weapon is basic looking but appropriate for Pote and the freeze frames build into a collection, which is a neat little sideline. In terms of desirability, Pote is high up in the rankings, simply because his screen time is so minimal and it is these kind of characters who appeal most to me and also to a lot of Star Wars fans. A definite must own action figure.
