This time around, he has a much better cape which fits snugly round his frame. There is a good grotesque looking face, with a superb amount of articulation on the mouth area. The new Sandperson comes with a very large staff, which is a dramatic improvement on the original weapon. He can grip it tightly in both hands and looks very menacing.

The Sandpeople are curious folk, living in the desolate dunes of Tatooine, they scavenge for prey and are not to be trusted. They make strange elephant like grunts to communicate with other and their behaviour is rather primitive. The Sandpeople made their debut in the 1977 film 'Star Wars- A New Hope.' They attacked Luke Skywalker and C3PO, leaving the youth wounded and the droid in tatters. They are some of my favourite creatures from the saga, mysterious and aggressive and sadly underused in the film too.
