... remould a few years back and the wait was worth it. Luke now has a helmet that you can take off, he can also grip it. Luke's hair is a superb mousey colour and his face looks like Hamill's which is excellent. You will notice Luke has the straps hanging down which adds authenticity, they are moulded really well and the orange suit has great detail this time around. Luke Skywalker first donned his X Wing gear towards the end of the 1977 film. In is fighter, he zoomed down the trenches of the Death Star before firing his rockets into the space station, causing it to destruct. Luke would return to his gear for the subsequent films. Toymaker Kenner released an action figure of Luke in X Wing after the first Star Wars film came out. The figure was quite displeasing. A helmet which could not be removed and a very basic looking face meant Luke looked about six! The bodywork was better but lacking in detail.
