      very good figure

Anakin what have you done to yourself! Forget the innocent little Anakin Skywalker who whizzed around in his pod race, this is Anakin on the verge of becoming Lord Vader. This figure is part of the thirtieth anniversary range and is a truly stunning piece.

Fans who had long hankered after an Anakin figure will not be displeased with this addition to the flock. A five to six inch plastic figure, capturing Anakin at his most volaitile. I think this transitional figure is very important as it is a central character on the cusp of transforming.

His youthful and handsome face is nicely moulded, with sleek brown hair flowing gracefully around his head. The eyes look wild and he is untamed and raw. A superb looking torso, rippling and macho, with pecs you want to lick really draws the attention. I love the tattoo work on his upper body which has been etched in with care and style.

The slacks and boots look tremendous with a high level of texturing on them and a lovely chunky feel. Anakin can be posed at the head, arms and legs allowing you to devise new battle scenes. To add further substance to the toy, he comes with a named mount, where you can attach him. This little extra restricts the play value, but for collectors is handy as you don't need to balance the figure on a shelf.

His trusty blue lightsabre comes with him and can be held in either hand. This is truly a very exciting departure for Star Wars action figures, as Hasrbo have pushed the boundaries to capture a rare moment in the films and turned it into a figure. Stylish, hunky and very eye catching, this is without a doubt one of the finest entries from Hasbro in recent years. You can pick him up for about five to seven pounds online, as new.
