A nice Figurine of Batman that anyone can enjoy

This Batman action figure from mattel is available from most good toy shops. I got mine from Tesco of all places as it was quite good value for money at the time. The sculpt is based on the film 'The Dark Knight' and it is very good. The great about Batman in this form is that the mold requires little paint as it is mostly black anyway. What paint there is here is put on well but there are some overflow here and there - nothing major though.

The figure is muscular and quite chunky to hold making it great for kids of all ages. The gauntlets are quite sharp however so it isn't suitable for small children. It makes for a nice display piece too without the extras included here - if your that way inclined. Mind you , these arevery easily lost so be careful with them anyway.

The staff aspect of the figure works well but they aren't very stable. They keep falling out from the grasps and doesn't work too well. The figure is full posable too with multiple points of articulation. Although this does mean you have to be gentle with it at times. Children may break it quite easily as the torso is prone to splitting.

Overall this is a great little figure which will appeal to all ages of Bat-fan.

      a fine figure

Here comes a giant of a superhero. It's a larger than life Batman action figure. Batman has been shaped on the Batman we saw in the 'Dark Knight' film. There is no sign of Adam West in tights here! The figure is of impressive girth too. He stands at about twenty five centimetres, making him eye catching and an excellent display piece.

Batman's posture alarms me a little. I know he has a good posture, but here he looks really stiff. It looks likes someone has shoved a poker up somewhere where they shouldn't have. Despite his odd straightness, you can actually adjust the figure and recreate new poses. The head, arms and legs will allow you to create different poses.

Batman benefits from a very muscular looking torso. It is the kind of chest that you want to keep stroking. Rippling man muscles poke out and command attention, while his strapping legs are begging to be played with. I love the tightness of his costume, it is accurate, gothic and has a strong sexual presence about it. We must also mention his dashing cape which dangles with pride giving him movement and charm around the rear. On the subject of that, a well sculptured rear is offset with a stark golden belt, lovely!

Batman comes with some accessories which he will use to combat his enemy The Joker. Harpoons will allow him to hook onto his rivals and make a hasty getaway! The price of the figure is about sixteen pounds, making him rather dear. There are smaller Batman toys available, so maybe weigh up all options. Is he worth getting? If you have got the cash to spend then yes, this is a decent figure, but just a bit too pricey for the casual buyer.
