Phwoar! Who is this beastly looking man? It is none other than the not very widely discussed Grizzlor from the hit television show 'He-Man.' Grizzlor was one of the later bad guys to be introduced to the series, flanking the evil Hordak. The character was turned into an action figure in the late eighties by toy maker Mattel. I must confess for having a soft spot for Grizzlor. Despite the fact that he is such a foulsome beast, he is also one of the best made figures. The six inch figure is one only a few toys in the range to have real fur. He joins Moss Man in the elite furry ranks. Grizzlor's lovely soft fur is plush and so lovely to run your hands over. I remember that games with Grizzlor would more often than not involve stroking his fur and taming it! The fur covers most of the body and does not come off either even if you yank at it. Grizzlor is very kinky in what he wears. He wears only a pair of boots and a harness around his shoulders. You can undo this at the back of the figure and have him next to naked...if that is your thing. The boots make him look like the kind of gentleman who might attend a backstreet niche market London club. They are knee length, shiny and militant in appearance. Grizzlor has a bear like face and two yellow coloured teeth, so he obviously does not floss. The head is somewhat static, but you can move his arms and legs with ease and also have him utilise the weapon. The harpoon does actually retract and has a neat firing mechanism on it. This figure is pretty rare so you might struggle to find him boxed. A lose figure should cost about five pounds though. One of the best figures in the Mattel range by a long shot.
