      Very helpful

      fun toy

The fearless Cringer, otherwise known as Battlecat, was a character from the show 'He Man.' The cat was the creature whom He Man rode on when he went into battle. When Battle Cat was his normal self he was a cowardly cat called Cringer, who was scared of everything. Mattel made a toy version of this cat in the eighties. It was one of the very first toys to come out from the show. You can still buy the toys to this day, but most are loose online and very few will be found in exceptional condition.

The cat is about the length of a large ruler and stands a few inches tall, making him a big piece to play with. He comes in a fixed pose and has been made from plastic. I was always annoyed that you could not move his legs as this would have made the toy far more enjoyable. What you can do with though is strap on his head gear and a seat onto his back. This fastens with a buckle under his body. A figure can them be seated on the cat and can ride him. The armour is rubbery plastic and can be moved more readily than the actual cat.

The figure has a strong and bright colour scheme and some glorious teeth that poke out, giving him a fierce abode. I love the stripes on his body and the way he is in a prowling pose. If you want to buy this toy, a loose one will cost about three to four pounds. A complete figure with all the armour can command over ten pounds though. A must have for collectors and a fine chunky toy to play with too.
