The toy is fully poseable, with a twisting head, arms which raise and legs which can be seated. Monkian is fierce looking and chunky. Made from plastic, he is robust and will stand up to being thrown around a garden or bedroom. All the Thundercats toys were well made and sturdy and never snapped because the limbs were so well attached.

In every cartoon show, there is always a dense character, who is getting into trouble and having nothing ever go their way. In Thundercats, this character was definitely Monkian. He looks like his name, a monkey in a helmet, a cross between Planet Of The Apes and Gladiator. Monkian used to work with comrades Jackalman and Slythe, carrying orders from the evil Mumm Ra.
