	Northwest ... was the first airline I flew with way back when I was just a wee lad (about 10-15 years ago) and my parents had decided to take me out to the USA to go to Florida and its theme parks and also head along the Mississippi for a short visit with family but the experience has always stuck with me as one of excellence. Northwest Airlines is an airline who operate across the world but of recent times have somewhat shrunk their operations outside of the USA. 	American Airlines ... and landed part of the wheels on the grass we were left somewhat shocked and felt a lack of confidence in the airline. The rest of the flight experience throughout was ok but not amazing but these two incidents would have been enough to put many off flying and whilst this was not the case for us it did put us off flying with American Airlines again. Positives: - Friendly and helpful staff - Reasonably well priced - Flights ran to time on the whole in my experience - Fairly comfortable staff - Good in flight drinks and snacks service Negatives: - Landing issues experienced - No apologies offered for the issues experienced on either flight during landing Overall no... 	Thomas Cook Airlines ... were fairly good - the leg room was acceptable for me, although I m only about 5 6ish, so it may have been a bit tight for taller people (one of the advantages of being small). There was no seat-back TV or entertainment system, however we didn t really expect one as it was only a short-haul flight. What annoyed me about Thomas Cook Airlines is how much they talk to you and try to sell you stuff. We d barely been sat down 2 minutes before someone came over the tannoy telling us all about the duty free and the bar service... in great detail... just shut-up and let me enjoy the flight in peace!
