Good service at a reasonable price (Aer Lingus)

Advantages: Friendly staff and comfortable aircraft

Disadvantages: No seat-back TV on return flight

We recently flew from Manchester to JFK via Dublin and rate them as one of the better Transatlantic carriers. Check-in was easy and all four flights arrived early (which has perhaps something to do with over-generous scheduling). The Dublin lay-overs were brief although security on the return leg was tiresome. We found the staff were efficient and very friendly and the food..., well, it wasn't bad. If the price is right, we'll fly with them again
