Prehaps I am being a little unfair. This airline diid give me some authentic Latin American moments. My reason for traveling with this airline was simply that BA place there own customers with this airline for connecting flights. It is possible to obtain BA miles as well. My first contact with the airline was being told that it was strictly forbiden to travel with more than one bag apart from my hand luggage. The combined weight should be no more than 20kg. Aerolineas Argentinas is a reasonable airline operator. If you are travelling within Argentina this airline may be the better option. The network is quite extensive with flights mostly emanating from Buenos Aires to other major Argentine cities including Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego) and cities to the west. Flight costs are quite reasonable and the service and the quality of food on board was okay. The fleet seems to be made up of workhouse 737s along with a few MD11-s here and there.
