Great Cabin Staff - Poor seating-Second Rate Food! (Air 2000)

Advantages: Relatively low cost, Excellent cabin staff

Disadvantages: Poor seating, very cramped, awful food

I have just returned from a holiday in Florida and flew Gatwick - Sanford (Orlando) & return on an Air 2000 767. The flights were each about 9 hours duration and because of the poor seating were pretty uncomfortable. Both flights were delayed by about an hour and the food was the average charter aircraft fare (ie disgusting). The only bright spot was the friendly and very hard working cabin staff who did their best to make the best of trying to serve abvout 300 passengers in very cramped and uncomfortable conditions. Air 2000 do have a "Premier" service (a sort of charter flight equivalent of Club Class) The seats were more roomy and appeared to be much more comfortable and there is also a better chice of in-flght entertainment. If I ever fly long haul with Air 2000 again I will opt for the Premier class. Unfortunately we were not offered this option by our travel agent when we booked.
