My husband and I flew to Minorca with our 3 children aged 6, 4 and3 at the time, in Sept 2001. We were quite happy with the service that we got. We boarded on time to clean plane. We took off on time. We did find the leg room was not enough, but we also remembered that we werent flying with British Airways and didnt expect an armchair. After all, you pay a basic price, expect a basic service. We had a 6.30am flight which meant getting the kids up at 3.00am, but, that also meant arriving at our destination at 10.30am with still the whole day to get out and about. I would recommend an early morning flight to anyone with children. I do not see it as a disadvantage. Breakfast on the plane was eggs and saugages etc.. which all 3 off my children picked at (thats what kids do!!!) it didnt mean the food wasnt suitable. The children got there rucksacks which kept them occupied, although they didnt really need it as the flight itself kept them occupied. We landed on time with a comfortable flight, a basic service and nice welcome. We paid a basic price, got a basic service and were quite happy. In actual fact, we are leaving to go to the airport in about 3 hours time, and going to the same destination and quite happily, using the same airline. If I feel any different on this flight, be rest assured, i will let you know......
