Lost Luggage (Air France in general)

Air France lost my luggage in a flight from Paris to Caracas. I did not recover it until two days later. Apparently I was a happy exception because the rule is to loss it forever.

According to the directions received at AF Caracas, I purchased some toiletry items to cope with and I kept the receipts in order to get the opportune reimbursement.

Within seven months, I have sent three letters to AF claiming for said reimbursement and I have not had any reimbursement and neither any reply at all (where is the French politesse?).

I have learned later that, as a company policy, AF does not compensate for any lost luggage and even do not care to reply the letters sent by its customers.

If you have your luggage lost with AF, probably you should forget it.

I feel that the only thing that the customers can do is to boicot and avoid that company.
