Advantages: Flies from Gatwick to Strasbourg

I only use this airline as a last resort because there are no other direct scheduled flights from London to Strasbourg. Well what do you expect - its only the home of the European Parliament.

I could get a BA flight to Amsterdam and change to a twin prop to Strasbourg. I've tried this a couple of times in desperation, but each time on the return flight the twin prop was late, I had a nightmare race through Schipol to catch my transfer and the case never made it!

So its back to AF and their invariably crowded and claustrophobic little shuttle type plane. Leg room and overhead locker space is extremely limited, although the seats are leather and reasonably comfortable once youre settled in. What I dislike most are their snooty cabin staff, who insist on talking to you in French, and fail to understand what you have asked for. They should all be sentenced to six months in the BA charm school. Also their food is the pits -what's the French for frozen spam bridge rolls? The only minor plus point is the free bottle of wine.
