No Luggage & No Service! (Air France in general)

Disadvantages: Unhelpful Staff, Incompetent Luggage Handling, Poor Food on Plane

While waiting for my flight from Paris to London, I was approached by an Air France employee, who asked if I would like to take an earlier flight to London. I asked if my luggage would also be changed to the earlier flight. She assured me that my luggage would follow me.

When I arrived in London, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The Air France employees could not trace my luggage and informed me that the only way forward was for me to fill in a form and leave it with them. They also gave a me a phone number to phone, should I wish to speak to anyone regarding my luggage.

The phone number was useless, as no one ever answered the phone. Eventually, I drove back to Heathrow the following afternoon. Air France staff members were as unhelful as usual, but then I demanded to see the Air France Customer Services Manager. It was then, that my luggage miraculously appeared.

From the way they treat their customers, it is really hard to believe that they are in the leisure and service industry.
