Air India (Air India)
Member Name: blunty
Advantages: Hot food , Cheeper, sturdy flight Disadvantages: only one screen unlike Virgin with multi screens ( But they mey have changed this now), Not much for the kids to do unlike virgin with kid fun packs, not meny flight rutes
Once again I am writing about the past. But flying with Air India is the best flight I ever had. I have flown with other air services before like Virgin, BA, but for me it has to be Air India that cums on top also being the cheapest of the three. (But I have to say I was dame scared when I seen like a clan of Indians drop down and started to pray on the floor at the airport then get searched by security men. They have problems every now and then with bomb scars I herd. But they got the all-clear). On the plane it was nice, tidy and clean, I had a nice clean take off. We had a screen which tells you your flight route, how far you are from your destination, how high you are, and time laps,. There was radio & latest film's to watch all through the night which I watched because I am not one for sleeping on airplanes (I like to know every thing that's going around me. If I could sit with the pilot I would). Then came the foooooood. First they handed out the menus and what they had to offer I never have seen no other air line offer the food they was offering it was as if I was at a restaurant offering HOT food like chicken curry and rice, If i can remember there was paster as well, other curries, salads, chocolate cake with HOT custard, METAL KNIFE AND FALK'S so you can eat your food which all went down well with me (unlike BA food which I cannot touch even when am starved. The last time I had BA food I was chucking it back up. NEVER AGAIN am I gona touch BA food). In the morning they serve hot towels to wipe your face with (Very refreshing). The flight was smooth and sturdy with not much turbulence (and I have been on some cheep flights where I thought the wings were gona drop off when any little wind came along) and the landing was smooth and safe "that was a flight I will not forget easily" Air India is on my top airline list and I would fly with them again. BUDGET FLIGHT COSTING A PREMIUM
Premium Economy - Worth the money!
Ryanair
I would pick these over RyanAir any day of the week.
Generally Pleasing, but cabin crew a little too aggressive.
What you pay is what you get.
